Hulda Hákon (1956) attended The Icelandic College of Arts and Crafts 1977-1981 and graduated in sculpture from The School of Visual Arts, New York, in 1983. She has held numerous private exhibitions and her works have been exhibited widely, e.g., in Scandinavia, many places in Europe, The United States and China. Several of her works have been installed in public places both in Iceland and abroad. In 2014 an extensive review of her works and career was published in the international German art history Künstler, Kritisches Lexikon der Gegenwartskunst. Hulda lives and works in Reykjavik and has a studio in the Westman Islands as well.
