It´s walls are covered by inspirational art pieces by contemporary Icelandic artists of international stature such as Hulda Hákon, Gunnar Örn, Elías B. Halldórsson and more.
Gunnar Örn was the representative of Iceland at the Venice Biennale in 1988 and his works are owned by museums like Moderna Museet in Stockholm, the Seibu Museum in Tokyo and the world famous Guggenheim Museum in New
The works of Hulda Hákon have also travelled far and wide and are found in various places and institutes. For example, a grand wooden basrelief by her representing the National Theater of Iceland decorates the inner corridor to the theater.
